Not what I'm supposed to -- yet. Got my new specs today, and they definitely need breaking in. I'm getting used to graduated lens trifocals as well as lenses that are three steps up from my old ones. I thought I was supposed to see better when I got my new glasses? Hmmmm!

It should come, if they got the prescription right (I have 30 days to determine if they will work or not, to get them fixed for free), so I'll attempt to be patient, while trying not to fall down the stairs or tip sideways because I'm woozy and everything is strangely warped. ;-)

The frames are nice!

Actually, I think I can definitely see the computer better already. Now if I can just make out those road signs at a distance...

I 've been wearing specks since I was five. with each new pair it took 3 to 5 days to adjust. I use to pay good money for dope to see like that, whoozy, yup, good money. I have a new RX but not the money for the glasses and frams, so I make do, but it does give me a headache sometimes with the eye strain.
I hope yours work out lin.
and yes, your chapter(s) is worth waiting for, no hurry.

I"ve had them since 6th grade, and trifocals for some time, but this is the first time I've had the kind without the lines. I'm having trouble focusing. ;-) But yes, 3 to 5 days sounds about right!

I couldn't read the directions on the cookie recipe, so I had to give in and put on my old glasses. What a relief! But it's back to the new ones now, or I'll never get used to them. ;-)

I have graduated bifocals, and I despise getting new ones... I'm the only one in my family with glasses, so they just don't 'get it' when I keep grumbling about the non-stop carnival ride everytime I move my head. The last pair I got there was still the 'fad' for teeny granny-glasses in the lens shops and even getting the biggest lenses I could find, they weren't big enough to have multiple powers on and make it work - after struggling to adjust for over a month, I went back to my old pair. What a waste....

But still, how grateful I am that we have them! I would really be in a fog without 'em.

Carnival ride. That's describes it perfectly! I"m seeing double of everything -- and just try to edit printed documents when you can't see straight! I'll give it a week, and if it's not any better, I'll ask for the old-fashioned kind. Hope their guarantee is truly guaranteed!
