Just here for a minute
Jun. 24th, 2006 08:35 amHubby has plans today, wants to do stuff. It's kind of interesting stuff, so I think I'll let him drag me along, even though I had half a mind to stay home and have a quiet Saturday. But quiet isn't always his idea of fun, so I'll do quiet later. ;-)
Possible activities today include:
- book sale at the libary :-D
- farmer's market :-)
- tour the old car display that is set up around town :-/
- jazz band concert in the park :-D
Some of these will likely be nixed if it is raining, but we'll see. I'll join him for everything except the old car display -- unless he pleads with me, hee!
Talk to you later, dear ones. Hope you all have a relaxing day of doing fun things for yourselves as well as with your loved ones!
Update on my Saturday activities:
The book sale was great! I was able to replace quite a few of my favorites that had to be left in Pakistan -- for under $10! Hardbacks, too -- whoo hoo! The farmer's market was nice, too, though we didn't buy anything. We had a look at some of the cars in passing -- they were interesting!
There is still the concert, which is a bluegrass band, not jazz -- I haven't decided yet if I'm going, DH might go on his own as part of his afternoon bike ride. We'll see what I'm doing come late afternoon and if it's raining or not. ;-)
On Monday evening is another concert -- the local symphony orchestra will be playing in the park! That's more my style, though bluegrass is fun, too.
