I'm feeling very hungry this morning, thinking about all the turkey (or other delectables) my Canadian friends will be eating today. Happy Thanksgiving ((((Canada)))). I am cooking a turkey tomorrow in honor of you -- and because I have one that I don't want to save for another whole month. I strained a muscle lifting it from the freezer, so it should be a good one!

I had a good weekend, though I am feeling a bit droopy today. Mostly because my writing Muse finally got going and I couldn't get it to shut up until late -- or should I say early (in the morning)?

My dad is still in the hospital, not feeling very well, but doing okay. They are taking good care of him, which is comforting.

I think I need a snack to tide me over until lunch in an hour! In the meantime, here are my goals for the week:

- keep my Muse talking, so I can get some long overdue chapters and conversations written
- get caught up on my friends' writings and COMMENT on them for their encouragement
- clean my house (ugh!)
- start my monthly project at work early so it's not such a scramble at the due date. I get an extra week this month for some reason -- which I have probably already squandered, hehe!

Hello (((Lin)))! I was hoping you might show your face sometime today. ;) Smells of dinner are wafting up to me right at this moment, so I can certainly sympathize with your hunger, hehe. Thanksgiving is still a good month away, actually over a month away, but I am nevertheless looking forward to it!

Does your muse wake you up when you're about to fall asleep too?? I have terrible problems with that. I often get my best ideas just as I'm falling asleep, and of course I have to get up and write them down, else where would my stories be? But once I start writing, it often goes on... and on...

Usually I get my good ideas as I am about to fall asleep. This time, the Muse had been bugging me all day, and I just didn't get a chance to give it free reign until nighttime. The nice thing is, I've begun now, and the rest of it will come much more easily. I always find the first few paragraphs of a chapter the hardest -- no matter how detailed of an outline I have prepared for it!

I often have exactly the same problem, as I mentioned above! But I am not able to keep my inspiration in check for a day, not even an hour or so. If I get an idea, I simply must write it down, otherwise I know (from experience) that I will forget it. Often, note-taking in a class at school has been interrupted for a story idea!

Oh, I have missed conversations with dear Boromir! Hope your muse is cooperative! My own is more talkative than she has been, and for that I am thankful! Whether those who are doomed to read my drivel will feel the same way afterward... only the Wise can predict!

My son sat up all night reading your LoftheC at the Scrapbook. He loves those!

Coffee with Ioreth actually "stirred the pot" a bit for a Boromir conversation, but I am sitting on that little chat in the hopes of getting serious chapter out first!

Oh, I can't wait to see what ol' Boro has to say about dear Ioreth! Hee hee! Agape and V have got us all on a rampage concerning the old dear! What fun!

(((your son)))) but warn him that imbibing LotCoffee will keep him up all night, and may cause the growth of excessive hair on his feet! I am tickled that he is enjoying it! Bless you both!

I'm sending you a box o' snacks for the holidays my dear. I knew I had found a kindred spirit when I realized that you enjoyed snacking as much as I do! I'm happy for your muse and hope she gave you lots of good ideas. Mine is still AWOL.

Yea
